Clean up old game records
A live game stores its players, answers and scores. After a game has finished these records are only needed for the teacher's report on the day. Deleting them keeps the database small and fast. Leaderboards and Insights data are kept.

Open the teachers' leaderboardEach approval is logged with the teacher who suggested the question (contributions). Rebuild logs approvals made before
the teachers' leaderboard existed, and removes rows whose suggestion was deleted or is no longer approved.
What is stored
Press "Count records" to see how much data each part of the platform holds.
Maintenance
Rebuild the catalog re-creates the outline of chapters and sections (and the search index) from the questions. Use it after editing data directly in the Firebase console.
Backup downloads the question bank, suggestions, leaderboards, Insights data and settings as one file (admins also get users, saved quizzes and every game's history and report). It contains teachers' names and emails: keep it safe.
Restore writes a backup file back: records in the file replace the same records; nothing else is deleted.
Reset demo data clears this browser's demo data and reloads the sample lesson.
