Chill

One calm corner of the internet.

Two small tools: a soundscape mixer and a breathing guide. Open one and put the world down for a minute.

The two tools

Soundscape mixer

Sukoon سُكُونْ

Mix rain, fire, ocean, birdsong, thunder and the pure noise colours into a soundscape that is properly yours. Sukoon means stillness.

  • Layer 12 sounds, each with its own volume
  • Watch them come alive at a safari camp by a lake
  • Start from one of six scenes, or save your own mix
  • Fade out after 10 minutes, half an hour, an hour, or your own time
  • Share a mix with a link

Guided breathing

Tanaffus تَنَفُّسْ

Breathe along with a calm guide. Six techniques, each drawn as the shape of its breath, plus a rhythm you set yourself. Tanaffus means breath.

  • Box, 4-7-8, coherent, physiological sigh, triangle and energize
  • Build a custom rhythm, saved on this device
  • Choose 3, 5 or 7 rounds, or just keep going
  • See your sessions add up, and keep a daily streak

Where to start

Pick the moment you are in.

Each link opens the tool with the right pattern or scene already chosen. Press play when you are ready.

  1. Focus

    Before deep work

Box breathing settles you before an exam, a meeting, or anything that needs a clear head. Then let brown noise and soft rain hold the room.

  2. Unwind

    When it all piles up

For stress, frustration or nerves: two breaths in, one long breath out. Even 1 to 3 rounds makes a difference. Then sit by the campfire for a minute.

  3. Sleep

    Winding down for the night

4-7-8 breathing slows everything down. Feeling light-headed at first is common, so start with fewer rounds. Rain, distant thunder and crickets do the rest.

Both of them, on your iPhone.

Sukoon for iOS brings the soundscapes and the breathing guide together, with background playback, offline sounds and saved mixes. Free, with no ads and no account.
